Twf Support Groups
Twf holds a variety of support groups for parents with babies up to 10 months old across Wales. Feel free to choose which group suits you best:
Siarad Babi/Baby Talk
- A series of 4 sessions aimed at new parents who haven't had the opportunity to use their Welsh recently or since leaving school
- These are practical sessions which include practising simple language patterns to use with your baby as well as learning simple Welsh rhymes to sing to your baby at home.
Amser Twf/Twf Time
These are monthly sessions and offer support to parents as well as giving you an opportunity to:
- learn new Welsh nursery rhymes
- learn about what Welsh resources are available for you and your baby
- meet and socialise with other parents who are raising their children bilingually.
Welsh for Parents
Please contact your local Welsh for Adults Language Centre to find our about local Welsh for Parents courses in your area. This is an excellent way of learning Welsh with your baby from the word go.
